In his recent livestream, Morgue said, “Our mods are awesome and they do a fantastic job.” Funny, he said the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago regarding two mods who have now left his cult and are campaigning against him. He never mentions that of course. The truth must never be allowed to interfere with the fantasy. And all the remaining mods, and all the remaining Hyperians, just nod their heads and no one ever thinks to say, “Hold on, the emperor is fucking stark naked!”
It’s astonishing how brainwashed the remaining Hyperians are. Every one of them has been trained not to ask their cult leader any awkward questions. What he says is accepted unconditionally, exactly as in a religion.
Corey has simply recreated the brainwashed cult to which he was subjected as a child. It’s the only “reality” he understands. In his childlike worldview, you are either the brainwasher or the brainwashed, and he loves being the brainwasher.
