The False Ego: Morgue Rebhahn

What does it mean to have a “false” Ego? How does it change your life? Does the possession of a false Ego actually remove you from being considered human? Should the most stringent measures be taken against the human impersonators in our midst? These people do ASTONISHING damage, and it’s precisely because they’re not human that they do it. Humanity would be entirely different if the human impersonators – predators that prey on real humans – were no longer around. Humanity could, at last, EVOLVE. Funnily enough, Professor Sam Vaknin says that the human impersonators themselves are now claiming to be humanity’s future. They believe they are more highly evolved – all because of the “superpower” that the false Ego confers on them.

It really is an astonishing power … the power to operate without empathy, without conscience, without shame or guilt. That allows a person to do whatever they want to others without inhibition. They don’t care AT ALL. They have zero consideration for others. They will do whatever is necessary to advance their own interests, regardless of others. They will lie, cheat, con, abuse, grift … whatever it takes. And at no point will they imagine that they are doing anything wrong. They simply don’t understand morality.

Morality, at base, can be construed in two different ways:

1. an absolute commitment to truth (which entails a hatred of lies and liars in all important areas … “white” lies are too trivial to register; in fact white lies are often necessary for a smoothly functioning society and normal relationships)
2. an absolute commitment to showing respect for others (which entails a hatred for all selfish, self-obsessed, greedy, manipulative, exploitative people who nakedly, or covertly, pursue their own interests at all times and have zero interest in the common good … right-wing extreme individualism has complete contempt for the collective; and so does Wokeness, which is a variant of far-right ideology since it’s all about the sanctification of extreme minorities, and the right of any member of such a minority to be allowed to do whatever they like, while huge restrictions are placed on everyone else! … no one ever says that minorities should be “politically correct” towards the majority … this is a strictly one-way street … only the majority must “correct” themselves! … and 100% of the majority thus feel themselves the victims of some sinister totalitarian dictatorship).

So, let’s get down to details. Let’s discover what the false Ego is all about.

Sam Vaknin wrote, “The classical Ego, proposed by Freud, is partly conscious and partly preconscious and unconscious. The narcissist’s Ego is completely submerged. The preconscious and conscious parts are detached from it by early traumas and form the False Ego.”

This is such an interesting idea. The Ego, in this view, splits. It fractures. Instead of being a single entity with three modes (unconscious, preconscious and conscious, with all three parts working together to produce a normal Ego and a normal person), it becomes two things:

1. an unconscious (true) Ego
2. a preconscious and conscious (false) Ego.

An Ego disconnected from the unconscious is an abnormal Ego. It has a completely different structure in relation to the psyche. It is staggeringly artificial. It’s all surface. It’s shallow, superficial, lacking human depth. In Jungian terms, it’s the Persona. It’s a mask. But what is it masking? In a normal person, the persona shields the Ego. You can present yourself differently in public from how you experience yourself internally. You are ACTING when you are with others (but not with yourself). But if the Ego behind the mask has become completely submerged in the unconscious, there is no conscious agent behind the mask. The mask itself is where consciousness now resides, and the mask is all about the act, the performance … about how the person appears to others and the impression he wants to make on others (and there is no real Ego that can reflect on itself, independently of the audience). The mask is in every way defined by the Other, in order to produce a certain impression on the Other and get a particular reaction.

The persona individual defines himself not in terms of the real ego behind the mask (by which he can internally regulate himself) but by the effect he has on others, and the responses he gets from others (i.e., he is externally regulated … he depends on others to define him). A persona individual, someone with a False Ego, of course wants others to think HIGHLY of him. So he goes out of his way to secure this exact effect. But how can a human being manage this? How can you get others to think extremely highly of you? How can you manage this reliably? Especially if you don’t have any particular talents or charms.

What you do is work out how to manipulate and exploit others. You learn how effective it is to lie to others, to tell them what they want to hear, to praise them and tell them how wonderful they are. And, by doing so, they think YOU are wonderful, and they come completely under your power. They tell you that you are an amazing human being and have changed their life, and that’s exactly what you want to hear, of course … how SPECIAL you are. And the more you exaggerate and lie and act and perform, the better and better the feedback, until you discover that others are actually WORSHIPING you. They regard you as a perfect person, a God. And that’s exactly what you desire above all. Except the whole thing is a total lie. It’s all fake. It’s a complete fraud. Yet who cares … as long as you get what you want out of it. These persona individuals become absolutely committed to and defined by their performance and the effect they have on others. They are all about how to CON others. They are obsessed with it and incapable of anything else.

You can see how this all plays out. The persona individual, the person with a False Ego, does not live a real life. They are a permanent act, a permanent performance, a permanent phony. Just look at Corey Rebhahn (Morgue Official) … that man has spent his entire life in the obsessive, compulsive pursuit of getting others to pay attention to him, to admire him, to tell him he’s great. And thus he never became an actual human being. His life is ridiculous in every way, and he has spent all of it trying to create cults that worship him, and he will never stop – because there’s no real person behind Rebhahn’s eyes that can ever do anything differently. He’s trapped in this performance forever. He’s an actor who can never stop acting. There is no real person to go back to. The act is permanent. Rebhahn has cult slaves. He has no friends and no lovers these days. He’s one of the loneliest men on earth. No one real can be allowed anywhere near him because they would immediately see how unreal he is. So, he can never get close to ANYONE. This man has cut himself off from human intimacy in order to be WORSHIPED. Donald Trump did exactly the same. All of these malignant narcissists end up in the same boat. They abandon being human so that others can treat them as gods.

Vaknin said, “The Superego in healthy people constantly compares the Ego to the Ego Ideal.”

What is the Ego Ideal? Wikipedia says,

“In Freudian psychoanalysis, the ego ideal (German: Ichideal) is the inner image of oneself as one wants to become. Alternatively, ‘the Freudian notion of a perfect or ideal self housed in the superego,’ consisting of ‘the individual’s conscious and unconscious images of what he would like to be, patterned after certain people whom … he regards as ideal.’ In the French strand of Freudian psychology, the ego ideal (or ideal ego, German: Ideal-Ich) has been defined as ‘an image of the perfect self towards which the ego should aspire.’”

The Superego compares the real you to the idealized you, and you will become happier and happier if you can reduce the gap between the two as much as possible. But some people – the pathological narcissists play the “fake it to make it” game and simply fake it that they have already arrived at their ideal self. A signature example of the phenomenon is Corey Rebhahn (“Morgue”), a man who literally claims to be the smartest human of all time, a “hyperaware World Shaper” raising human consciousness and building a new world and new humanity (New Terra). Snore!

This coming from a sword swallower in a freakshow who never went to school and worked in a beauty parlor and hair salon and pontificates to a few hundred fanatical cretins and weirdos on YouTube! The grandiosity gap of this guy – the gap between his reality and his fantasy – is INFINITE. This man is so delusional he should literally be in a mental asylum, and that’s where he will definitely end up! If he repeated his grandiose Hyperian claims to a panel of psychiatrists, they would have him committed on the spot. And the decision would be 100% right and essential. Society MUST protect itself from the apex predators in its midst – people like Corey Rebhahn (Morgue Official). Immensely Fat Jan should be locked up too. In fact, the whole Hyperian cult should be marched off. A healthy humanity must seek to ELIMINATE cults. They prey on normal, decent people.

A normal person, with a real self and subject to internal regulation, can determine by himself how close he is to his ego ideal. A malignant narcissist, with a false self and only external regulation, has no means other than the reaction from others to decide how well he is doing.

A malignant narcissist, insofar as he can derive any satisfaction from life (it’s difficult if you’re a fake human with a false self!), does so by measuring how much others WORSHIP HIM, which is why so many of these people end up as cult leaders. Basically, 90% of influencers are malignant narcissists running cults, and the remaining 10% are the valuable few who might actually have something positive, constructive and healthy to say. (They are much less popular than the others!)

Take Rebhahn as a signature example of a malignant narcissist. Look at how he acts as though all the mods, creators, supporters, and members who left Hyperianism last summer and autumn NEVER EXISTED. It’s ASTOUNDING. It really is. Rebhahn literally pretends that all of these people were never there (they have been erased despite all of their hard work over the years), and his cult slaves all mindlessly go along with it. Very prominent people such as RJ, CL, Jewel, Wrath, and so many others, are never mentioned under any circumstances. This is just like Soviet politicians being “unpersoned” and removed from photographs, books and newspapers … and you would be executed as a traitor if you ever mentioned them. No one in Hyperianism ever says, “Oh do you remember that funny incident with RJ, or when CL said that brilliant thing, or when Jewel released that great song, or that brilliant video by Wrath?” This can NEVER happen. It could in any group of normal people, but this is a cult and everyone knows exactly what will displease their GOD. He won’t mention the leavers and therefore they won’t either – because they know their ORDERS.

Rebhahn, as we said, is EXTERNALLY regulated, so every person who leaves Hyperianism is a disaster for him. They signify that he is a loser, a failure, anything other than GOD. People are NOT worshiping him. That’s no good for Rebhahn. So, how does he respond? He simply acts as if all these people were never real and were never there. Mods he literally worked with intimately for years are just “disappeared”. (Can you imagine how you would feel if you were treated this way … years of dedication and effort wiped away as though they never happened?! … and then you are branded as some obscure and faceless “troll” … rather than someone who was right there alongside Rebhahn for years.) And every Hyperian goes along with this and not one thinks there’s anything strange about it, even though some of them still interact with the former mods (hence KNOW THEY EXIST). These people convince themselves that their behavior is rational when in fact it’s INSANE.

Just because Morgy Porgy doesn’t talk about the hundreds of people who left his cult doesn’t mean that his remaining cultists have to do the same. Only joking! Of course they have to slavishly do what their GOD demands. Anyone who mentioned RJ, CL, Jewel or Wrath to Rebhahn would have to leave the cult IMMEDIATELY. Rebhahn would either ignore the comment, or would say, “I have no idea what you’re talking about!” Go on, give it a go and see what his reaction is. AS IF! You are all Rebhahn’s SLAVES. You would never do anything to upset him, to shake his fantasy. He has made it your fantasy too! You don’t want your own delusions challenged.

As Nietzsche said, “Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.”

That’s so true of Hyperians. Isn’t it remarkable that these people call themselves “freethinkers” and “free spirits” and yet literally zero of them can ask Rebhahn to comment on the hundreds of people, including his closest colleagues and supporters, who departed from Hyperianism? They are all namelessly dismissed as “trolls” and “miscreants” and “insane people” and no one bats an eye. Funny how they were none of those things when they appeared alongside Rebhahn … shouldn’t Rebhahn explain how this strange fate overcame them, especially since they were so closely identified with Rebhahn himself and so completely under his influence and patronage, and specially selected by him! Even Rebhahn must be amazed that the control he exerts over his current groomed, brainwashed cult slaves is TOTAL. They forget what he wants then to forget, and remember what he wants them to remember, and then these people laughably say they are nothing like ABRAHAMISTS. They are in fact identical to Abrahamists. They are people of absolute faith.

A few weeks ago, Rebhahn started to panic. He was in danger of suffering the narcissist’s worst nightmare – MORTIFICATION – when reality starts to intrude in the narcissist’s fantasy and badly disrupting his external regulation. Rebhahn’s Patreon stats were disastrous. They were in steep decline. What was his response? Rebhahn, as you will all have observed, frantically started releasing videos left, right and center, and posting much more frequently on social media … he NEEDED to replenish his narcissistic supply. It was slipping away.

So, Rebhahn has now clawed back some of his losses after this frenzied publicity campaign (it’s annoying that there are so many suckers out there!), but this is all taking an enormous toll on this person. Even he talks about taking a “vacation”. But he can’t. He has no friends and no family to go with, he secretly hates all of his cult slaves (so he can’t go see any of them … can you imagine Rebhahn going on vacation with Dyslexic Fairy, or Kassidy, or Necrophil, or his mom Breeder Bitchell – ho, ho, ho!), and he would in any case NEVER disrupt his routine and upset his autistic OCD rituals and risk losing ANY narcissistic supply. Besides, it’s this supply he CRAVES. A vacation is no good – who would worship him?! No one would know who he was, or care.

Vaknin wrote, “The narcissist has a different psychodynamic. The narcissist’s False Self serves as a buffer and as a shock absorber between the True Ego and the narcissist’s sadistic, punishing, immature Superego. The narcissist aspires to become pure Ideal Ego.”

Rebhahn’s superego is cast in the image of his Christian Fundamentalist mother who demanded that he be sin-free and perfect (since he was born in sin and needed to be saved from perdition!). Rebhahn’s true self collapsed under the impossible demands. Only a False Self could cope, and the false self goes with a false reality (fantasy), whereas the real self lives in the real world. Rebhahn left reality because he couldn’t cope because his parents inflicted perfectionist Protestantism on him, and he broke and became the lunatic we see today … too weak for reality, but plenty strong enough to lead an insane cult devoted to his own worship, where no on ever criticizes him (unlike in real life, and unlike what he got from his own parents …. Things were so bad he actually ended up in a foster family. He was psychologically FUCKED. This is an extraordinarily damaged human being, and so are all of his cult slaves … it’s hard to imagine a more dysfunctional, irrational group of people, people as alienated from reality as this lot. All of them belong to extreme LGBTQ minorities and are DESPERATE for validation, which Rebhahn is only too happy to supply in exchange for copious narcissistic supply and money. Listen, folks, this is the 21st century. LGBTQ people are no longer persecuted. Join whatever you want. Illuminism, for example, doesn’t give a toss what you are, provided you are smart and talented and can make a positive contribution. No one cares who anyone is sleeping with. That’s strictly your business. It’s not ours. The more you mix with the mainstream, the more mainstream you will be regarded. Don’t put yourself in ghettos, except those private, exciting ones you create for yourselves where you can do whatever you like away from any eye-rolling by the mainstream.

Vaknin wrote, “The narcissist’s Ego cannot develop because it is deprived of contact with the outside world and, therefore, endures no growth-inducing conflict. The False Self is rigid. The result is that the narcissist is unable to respond and to adapt to threats, illnesses, and to other life crises and circumstances. He is brittle and prone to be broken rather than bent by life’s trials and tribulations.”

Rebhahn would be broken if he ever stepped outside his culty cult, so he never will! The real world would crush that guy if he ever dared to step into it.
